What you'll do
Do you get lost in the fresh aromas of lemongrass and the sweet smells of mint and basil? Are you dreaming of an Asian getaway? Learn the secrets and satisfy your cravings at our Asian street food cooking class in Brisbane!
Our gorgeous Asian street food culinary adventure will teach you how to make your own pastes from scratch, and of course how to use them in creative
beautiful ways.Â
During this action-packed three-hour cooking class you will learn everything from how to make curry pastes, to how to make your own Asian inspired sauces from scratch. Working together in small teams we will create three dishes from the sample menu below.Â
The delicious menu is subject to the availability of ingredients but you will learn how to make your own curry paste and sweet chilli sauce from scratch and create a delectable Asian feast!
Classes are interactive and hands-on. Our interactive cookery courses are designed for those with a passion for cooking but are perhaps lacking the necessary skills or confidence to absolutely shine! You should not be spending hours slaving away in the kitchen, cooking can be fun, creative, fulfilling and rewarding.
You also get to enjoy a feast of all the delicious food we prepare, so your lesson will be a delicious culinary adventure!
The Asian St Food Menu:
Available Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Vegan and Dairy Free
- Vietnamese lemongrass chicken/beef salad
- Vegetable KaraageÂ
- Yellow and fragrant Chicken Chang Mai Curry with coriander and coconut sexy rice stack
- PLUS Grilled banana with salted caramel sauce (demo only)
Please note: The menu is based on available seasonal produce and is subject to change at the experience provider's discretion. You will not have your own workstation but will work in small groups with some of the lessons being demonstrated and some of the lessons being hands-on. Please advise us of any dietary requirements in advance! The class is held in a fully licensed venue so you are unable to BYO.
Note: Groups of four or more guests will get their own private table.
