Learn how to cast plants in plaster and create cute tiles with Design Cite!
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn how to make simple moulds using minimal equipment from around the home and learn how to cast a plaster tile. You're welcome to BYO your favourite beverages to sip while you get creative.
At the end of the class, you’ll walk away with a beautiful pressed plants tile and the know-how to create more!
Please note:
- Participants are expected to be nice to one another. Disruptive behaviours and bullying will not be tolerated. Design Cite reserves the right to terminate enrolment if unacceptable behaviour is not resolved.
- Participants will be charged for any damage caused by their behaviour to the building or equipment.
- Participants are required to wear closed-in shoes.
- Design Cite will offer a refund or transfer if a course is cancelled due to insufficient numbers or sickness.
- In the unfortunate event that you fall ill, please do not attend the workshop/s to protect the health of other participants. Let us know in advance of the workshop/s and we will provide the opportunity to transfer to another upcoming or future workshop/s.

I have a unique skillset, working in the area of communication, behaviour and art.
I help individuals and organisations to improve communication, leadership, influence and emotional intelligence, by delivering insightful PD training, coaching and presentations that provide simple, practical skills to use straight away.
I also run art classes for kids and families, as well as creative classes for adults in Perth. I cover a range of media including painting, sculpture, clay, drawing, plaster-casting, rug making, etc.
No prior experience necessary, all abilities are welcome.
