What you'll do
Discover a world of Asian food delights in this express 2.5hr cooking class at Vanilla Zulu in Brisbane!
Your cooking class begins with a heart-warming welcome, introduction and chat with your fellow budding chefs. Then pop on your apron, get into the kitchen and start cooking. You will work in small groups of about two on a table of four as your Chef guides you step by step.
In this class, you will learn the tricks and tips to making delightful Asian street food. Mild or spicy, it’s up to you as everything is made from scratch! This class is fun, informative and will teach you how to produce stunning authentic dishes that are steeped in tradition and flavour.
Your Express Asian Menu:
Available Dairy Free, Vegetarian and Vegan (not available Gluten Free)
- Fragrant Chicken Larb Gai
- Crispy Potato and Cumin Samosas
- Handmade Bao Buns with Sticky Chicken – make your bao bun from scratch!
The delicious menu is subject to the availability of ingredients but you will learn how to make your own bao buns from scratch and create super fun and quick Asian delights! Classes are interactive and hands-on, designed for those with a passion for cooking but are perhaps lacking the necessary skills or confidence to absolutely shine.
You also get to enjoy a feast of all the delicious food we prepare, so your class will be a delicious culinary adventure! Pair your meal with a drink from the fully licensed bar with gin cocktails.
Please note:
- Dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan options are available. Please let us know of any dietary requirements at checkout.
- There are no refunds on bookings but we do a have a very generous rescheduling package.
- The menu is based on available seasonal produce and is subject to change at the experience provider's discretion.
- You will work and cook together as a team, and share workspace and the kitchen equipment with other participants. A group cooking session with partial group participation is the most effective and fun way to add to your cooking skills. To ensure the class finishes on time some elements of the dishes are demonstrated.
- Groups of four or more guests will get their own private table.
Support Workers, Interpreters, Aids, everyone must book and pay to enter. Please be understanding, due to the layout of the class and safety & enjoyment of all guests, they must book in too.
