If you have ever wanted to learn the art of making stunning and irresistible hand-made chocolates then this Melbourne workshop is perfect for you!

You will discover how to use traditional chocolate tempering techniques to create beautiful, delicious chocolates in this three-hour hands-on workshop in Malvern.

Together we will cover the various concepts and techniques to making hand-made chocolates and at the end, you will be able to customise your own creations to personal preference and taste!

Chocolate concepts we will be exploring:

  • Truffles
  • Marble bars
  • Ganache chocolates
  • Caramel-filled chocolates
  • Custom chocolate crunch barks
  • Almond clusters with sea salt drizzle
  • Decadent chocolate biscuits and flavourings
  • Chocolate lollipops
  • Chocolate enrobing

Techniques you will learn on the day:
  • The traditional French tempering technique
  • Understanding chocolate varieties, equipment and moulds
  • Working with fillings, flavourings and transfer sheets
  • Learning how to make your own caramel and ganache
  • Moulding, unmoulding and hand enrobing techniques
  • Chocolate temperature and storage

We use the finest quality ingredients and keep the batches small to ensure greater personalisation. This course is specifically designed for you to get hands-on training in chocolate making and is a beginner to intermediate level.

Round off the sessions with chocolate tastings and return home with a selection of your scrumptious creations!

Please note:
  • In case of dietary requirements, we welcome you to contact us before booking in order to check on the suitability of the ingredients used during the workshop.
  • Allergens present in the workshop: Tree nuts, dairy and gluten.
  • Kids aged nine to 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult. Kids and teens aged 13 and above can attend the workshop without adult accompaniment.


Knowledge required
No prior experience in chocolate making is required. Suitable for ages 13 and above (ages 9-12 are welcome to enrol when accompanied by an adult taking part in the workshop together).

An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.
