Earrings are easy to make, and whether you are a first-time crafter or love DIY, these are both stunning and original designs by educator Christine Smalley. Make two pairs of designer earrings and follow Christine in a pre-recorded step-by-step online class.

With your craft box, you can make up to two pairs of earrings in your choice of colour:

  • 'Florentine' drop earrings
  • 'Fan' charm drop earrings

'Florentine' earrings are pretty and delicate but still pack an elegant statement. Aptly named after the ancient technique of metal engraving with a fringe of Czech glass crystal drops.

The 'Fan' earrings are made from a delicately brass vintage element, combined with a solo accent cloisonné enamel bead adorned with a pretty floral pattern. Gilded metallics make this vintage modern earring design an elegant statement. Plus, they are so lightweight and therefore incredibly comfortable to wear!

Both designs are sustainable, with brass being the most eco of all metals as it has a small footprint. If you're looking for fun things to do at home, reach out for one of our jewellery making DIY kits, which are just like making from scratch, only easier! Plus, this earring kit comes with a step-by-step video tutorial in these times of physical distancing.

Please choose from the below colours at checkout: (see photos)
  • 'Florentine' length: 7cm
  • Colour Options:
  • Turquoise
  • Pink
  • Black (not shown)
  • 'Fan' length: 6.5cm

  • How to link beads and filigree charms together.
  • Professional tips on earring assembly and design.
  • About jewellery parts and how to use them.
  • Different elements from beads to charms and why they are your sustainable and ethical style choice.

We believe in the power of adornment and creativity and have designed a craft box for you to design, make, and play using beautiful and original elements sourced ethically and globally. We inspire your notable style and embrace the maker culture: seeking beauty, slow, ethical, and local.
