Looking for fun things to do on the Gold Coast? Join Wesley Taylor Art Studios for our hand building clay and sip art classes!

You will work with Earthenware clay to create a few creative pieces. You have the choice to create your own pieces. During this beginner-friendly workshop and art class, you’ll learn basic skills like hatching, sticking together and shaping forms and will sculpt using stoneware pottery clay.

We will do an introduction with our artist instructing a demo at the front and receive one-on-one guidance and assistance as needed, so you can make some great pieces to take home and display with pride!

All the materials for your unique pottery piece will be supplied. At the end of the class, you will return home with your own self-made masterpiece.

This venue is Thai Mudgee with all food and drinks to be purchased from the bar. But it’s also all about having fun, so if you want to do your own things and just embrace the experience of something new, you can do that too!

This is a great idea for friends, couples, dates, hens parties, work parties, team building activities, birthdays or just to come and experience something new.

You will be able to craft something beautiful to take home and display proudly and enjoy a few glasses of your favourite beverage too!

The Thai Mudgee event runs third Friday each month, function requests are welcome.

We also offer a Surfers Paradise session on the last Saturday of each month, Finn McCools 39 Caville Ave, Surfers Paradise. Note now closed permanently Bavarian Haus Restaurant, 41 Cavill Avenue Surfers Paradise. So we have changed to the building next door at Finns now.

Minimum of 5 people required to run.

Yes, we do functions with a minimum of five people. The cost reduces depending on how many people you have. We are the best value Clay and Sip Pottery on the Gold Coast, the real Australian value company. Please send a request as required.

Private Function pricing 9-14 people is $39 per person, 15-19 people is $35 per person, 20 plus people is $29 per person. Please note Thai Mudgee opens from 5pm daily. Any earlier or Saturday day private events we recommend the Finn McCools in Surfers Paradise

Please note: the second Friday of each month is a paint and sip.
