What you'll do
Add fun and excitement to your cupcakes with this hands-on cactus decorations class in Brisbane!
Guided by your experienced teacher, you'll learn how to pipe cacti using a variety of piping tips. You will decorate a box of six cupcakes, decorated in buttercream, to share with loved ones (or enjoy all to yourself).
You'll learn how to:
- Fit a coupler to use piping tips
- Fill a piping bag
- Fit a piping tip/nozzle and hold a piping bag to get the correct pressure
- Use different piping tips (nozzles)
- Prepare your cupcakes ready for piping
- Decorate your cupcakes with various cacti
To give you a pleasant learning experience, this class is restricted to four participants. At the end of the class, return home with all your beautiful and yummy cupcake creations!
This class is structured for adult learners. Participants must be 18 years of age to attend. 14-17 years may attend in the company of an adult class participant. Under no circumstances will under 14 year olds be admitted to class.

To learn to make and colour the luscious buttercream used in class, please select the optional buttercream class add on. You will need to arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled class start time (e.g. your cupcake class is scheduled for 0930 by selecting the buttercream class add on, you must arrive no later than 0900)
- This class does not cater for allergies or Gluten intolerances.
- Suitable for age 18 years and up. 14-17 years must be accompanied by an adult class participant.
- Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time to ensure you receive the allotted time.
- Printed notes are not supplied in this class.

Knowledge required
Beginners welcome, no experience is required. 18 year and up. 14-17 years with an adult participant.
What you'll get
- Six cupcakes baked from scratch using quality ingredients.
- Box for transporting your creation home.
- All equipment necessary to decorate your cupcakes, including aprons, for use on the day.
What to bring
- Your imagination and a sense of fun are all you need to bring.

My love of baking was formed at a very young age and some of my fondest memories as a child are when I was helping my Mother and Grandmother in the kitchen. Whilst I love all forms of cooking, baking is my favourite. I love to try new recipes and techniques and have developed some of my own recipes.
My decorating skills were not always as they are now but I always strived to improve. It was by accident, after a friend gifted me a decorating class almost 10 years ago, that I fell in love with cake decorating. Since then, I have sought out opportunities to improve my skills and have attended decorating classes with internationally renowned decorators.
