What you'll do
Silk is one of the most unusual and exciting mediums to work on, it literally drinks the colour. Vivid, stunning and vibrant are just some of the words used to describe silk art.
In this six-part tutorial, you'll discover the wonders of silk painting and receive expert tuition from world-renowned silk artist, Kim Michelle Toft. With more than 35 years of experience, Kim’s work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally and her incredible silk artwork is also featured in her multi-award-winning environmental children’s books.
In this pre-recorded class, with step by step expert instruction and summaries at the end of each stage, you will transform a blank piece of white silk into a finished silk masterpiece in less than four hours!
You'll also receive six free templates to use for your designs on silk and unlimited email support from Kim if any queries should arise.

My love of the ocean and the coastal habitats which support it are the driving force behind my silk paintings and award winning environmental picture books.
