What you'll do
Join Heather at her studio in Balmain and learn latch hook weaving techniques to create your own unique designs.
Beginners can start their weaving journey, or, if you have a bit more experience, reacquaint yourself with this fun and relaxing textile craft!
You will be shown how to design and create a work that you can hang on your wall at home or even learn how to make a gorgeous, textured cushion. Work with different colours, shapes and ideas to create your woven pieces.
During this class, you will gain the confidence to make your own latch hook weaving designs at home and experience the benefits of this meditative process.

No skills or prior knowledge required.

East Village Art House is a small but industrious art Studio, located in historical Balmain and founded by Heather Hunt.
With a wealth of talent EVAH offers workshops and courses in a variety of mediums, ranging from watercolour painting, Acrylic painting, Textile Loom weaving and raffia Weaving, and recently expanding to introduce Clay hand-building workshops. EVAH also offers fun group experiences, including Clay & Rosé and Sip & Paint.
All this packed into the cutest Art studio in Sydney's Inner West.
