What you'll do
This exclusive, bespoke photography class in Sydney goes through the process of how to take sharp, imaginative close-up photos focusing on beautiful colours, organics shapes and the amazing textures of nature.
Learn how to compose properly while looking for proper lighting, contrast and angles to create blurred effects (DSLR and Mirrorless) and for those with compact cameras, you will be amazed that your little pocket camera can capture images that you can proudly display on the wall of your home!
You'll have lots of hands-on photography time throughout the session to perfect your skills as the class size is kept intimate with a maximum of seven students.
A good sturdy tripod makes for sharp photos but is not necessary for the day.
Knowledge required
Suitable for photographers of all levels of experience whether using compacts, bridge cameras or DSLRs/Mirrorless cameras.

I have run photography courses and camera workshops for some of the world's largest camera companies including NIKON, Canon, Sony, Olympus and Paxtons camera stores and my passion is to open up the fascinating world of photography to enthusiasts and professionals alike. A photography course should be a fun, rewarding experience. My aim is that you'll walk away feeling excited about photography and wanting to get out there and capture awesome images.
Some of you have probably seen me spruik OLYMPUS cameras on television with shopping channel greats Moira and Peter Mason. My photography show on 2GB was a staple of information for many photographers on a Saturday night with Murray Whilton and Glenn Wheeler also.
I have been brushed with such luck that I can share the love of photography with a wide range of people with the help of OLYMPUS Australia. I have used OLYMPUS cameras for as long as I can remember but also very lucky to be accessible to the latest models from Fujifilm, Pentax, Sony, Lumix, Canon and Nikon cameras and numerous lens brands also.
I am so privileged that I get a chance to help people enjoy the world of digital photography and the technology surrounding it!
