Join us at our Silver Casting Jewellery Making Class and discover the fascinating world of transforming sterling silver into wearable art! From mastering mould making to pouring the molten metal, this class will ignite your passion for craftsmanship. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity, book your spot at ClassBento today! Design and create your own one-of-a-kind pendants or jewellery at this hands-on, silver casting workshop with Alvin in Geebung.
At this unique jewellery making workshop, you'll learn how to make moulds of the shape you would like to create for your design before melting and pouring sterling silver into the moulds you've made.
This technique is extremely useful for replicating unique or obsolete jewellery items and is a relaxing and mindful craft. This process of replication is limited to odd shapes or shapes that cause to have undercuts in the mould.
At the end of the class, return home with two stunning sterling silver jewellery pendants and the confidence to continue silver casting.

Beginners welcome. This jewellery making course is suitable for students 18 years and older.
What you'll get

I like so much to work with my hands since my younger years which made me become skilful in many crafts. I am also knowledgeable in many other crafts which I have done in the past and is still doing them as needed, such as: furniture making, boat building, paddle making, furniture restorations, polishing, wood turning, metal crafts and Tai Chi.
I have a shed/studio where I do my personal works.
I am an active member of Redcliffe Pottery club, North Pine Trade and Foundry club. I learn and share my other skills through these clubs.
I had been in Furniture Making business and is on Jewellery Making at the moment.
In any of my in-person workshops, I welcome NDIS Support Workers to come and sit along for free. If they are interested to join, I insist payment for the workshop.
