What you'll do
Dive into the world of innovative technology in this 3D printing workshop in Brisbane, designed for complete beginners.
In this two-hour workshop, you'll learn everything you need to know to get started with 3D printing. We'll cover all of the basics, and by the end of this workshop, you'll know how to operate a 3D printer!
What we'll discuss in the workshop:
- The different types of 3D printers (both filament and resin)
- How 3D printing works
- The pros and cons of the technology
- The process of 3D printing your own item
Accessibility notice: unfortunately our workshop is on the first floor and is only accessible via stairs. Due to the heritage and design of the building it is infeasible to add a wheelchair lift, as much as we'd like to. We hope that in the future we can grow large enough to move into a bigger and more accessible building.
Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 2 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.

Our mission is to create a safe space for everyone to socialise and learn how to use our tools and equipment. We're 100% volunteer run and operate as a not for profit.
Our volunteers have extensive experience and skills with a variety of different technologies like 3D printing, laser cutting, electronics and more! We're a registered charity and the proceeds of all of our classes go back into our mission.
