If you’ve been tasked with planning a 'classy' hens party do but still want to have a fabulous good time, we offer sophisticated, fun and themed jewellery workshops in Sydney's inner west – no strippers required. This package is perfect for your mum's and bubs group, a special birthday or retirement farewell.

Whatever the occasion a jewellery workshop will make it memorable.

Alternatively, we can come to your Sydney venue - home, hotel or other accommodation (+ travel fee)

Inspired by the pastel-saturated movie Marie Antoinette our love of modern vintage jewellery is expressed in delicate fine detail. You'll leave with a one-of-a-kind creation that showcases your personal style. Using brass filigree elements add sparkle, pearls, and a dash of candy colours, create your own unique assemblages.
Choose to make either:

  • two pair of drop earrings or
  • a pair of drop earrings and beaded charm pendant.

Our experienced tutors will guide you every step of the way, ensuring you have a fun, relaxed, and friendly experience. You'll be amazed at how quickly you'll learn the techniques and skills needed to create stunning pieces of jewellery. Choose from a variety of stylish jewellery kit designs, all suited for beginners. Make your unique assemblages under the expert guidance of our tutors who offers each guest a personalised, informative and inspirational experience

If you want to host a hen's celebration which is memorable for everyone, won't have your mum blushing and will have all the girls talking about, then our vintage-style jewellery hens party is the perfect event.


Location information:
Summer Hill, a charming village with cozy bars and cafes.
After the class, why not extend your celebration by visiting a nearby bar or enjoying a delicious lunch or dinner at one of the highly recommended local restaurants? You can even hop on the light rail and explore Sydney CBD while showing off your newly made jewellery.

Class schedule:

Held at Summer Hill (Paper Rock Scissors Art Studio):
  • Minimum of six and maximum of 14 guests
  • Two hour experience - studio bookings
  • Mingle on arrival with your besties
  • Enjoy your jewellery workshop
  • There will be some time in the end for you to host some games.

At your venue:
  • You can hold the class at your own venue, (home, hotel or other accommdation) plus additional travel fee, from $55.
  • Minimum of 8 and maximum of 30 guests


Catering (optional):
If you'd like to add a touch of elegance to your event, we also offer optional catering. Enjoy sweet and savory morsels artfully displayed on vintage tiered stands while sipping champagne (BYO) from our supplied glasses.

Knowledge required
Beginner-friendly. No experience in jewellery making required.
 
What you'll get
  • You'll either make two pairs of drop earrings, or a pair of earrings and a beaded chain pendant (yours to keep), using brass filigrees and charms, crystals, pearls, and Czech glass beads and create a beautiful keepsake!
  • Optional extra: enjoy catering packages from sweet and/or savoury morsels displayed on vintage tiered stands and BYO champagne.
  • Fridge and champagne glasses supplied.

I am a local inner west, Sydney jewellery designer, passionate educator, community-spirited and sustainable style advocate. My workshops celebrate the maker culture, creativity and the joy and craftsmanship of handmade.

Fueled with a passion for women to exude their notable and authentic style, my goal is to encourage all my students to awaken their creative soul and seek beauty, slow, artisan and local.

With over 20 years teaching experience from TAFE, corporate and community groups I am dedicated creating a teaching environment where participants can share ideas, be inspired and let their imaginations run wild.

Workshops are held in a friendly and intimate studio space in the former Summer Hill Flour Mill precinct. Alternatively, we can travel to your venue. (home, Airbnb or hotel for group bookings only)
