Lampshade Workshop (Small)

Make your very own designer drum lampshade!

2.5 hours 1 to 2 label $145 or 4 payments of $36.25 Afterpay

You will learn to create your own industry-standard drum lampshade.

Bring along some fabric, I'll supply everything else, including the metal ringset and adhesive styrene to adhere the fabric to, as well as glue and double-sided tape.

Think about the pattern you choose for your fabric and how it will look as a lampshade. Once you learn, you might become a little addicted!

You will be making a 20cm lampshade in class.

Please book one week in advance so I can make sure I have kits ready!

This was a private class in the teacher's fascinating bijoux home studio. I understand Gin travels to your place for classes of 2 or more.

Gin was a communicative and knowledgeable instructor. Her knowledge spans a vast range of art and craft skills. The lampshade making class was concise and thorough. I have left with the skill to replicate more lampshades at a later date and lots of inspiration for more.

I just love my lampshade. It's such a pretty, quirky improvement for the base. What an immensely valuable skill to have learned and Gin couldn't have been lovelier.
