My class is usually one on one or small groups of two people so you can learn more throwing techniques in details.

I will email once the work is fired and glazed so you can arrange collection. Please note that from drying to firing to glazing takes about 4 weeks.

So much fun! We had a great time learning pottery as beginners. It was my friend’s birthday and Shinhee was able to accommodate us with a private lesson on a specific date. A great teacher, very patient and encouraging, she made it looked so easy and graceful. Although ours did not turn out to be like hers, we were pretty pleased with our efforts and get to keep 2 pieces each. Thank you Shinhee for a fun and memorable day.

For those outside of this creative field, the beginners wheel throwing class with Shinhee is a unique and priceless experience. Shinhee is a very talented artist and patient teacher, who demonstrates and guides you through the whole process. My partner and I had a wonderful experience to play with the clay and understand how to prepare and shape it into different forms. Definitely a worthwhile and valuable class to take with your friends, family or loved ones.

The experience was fun and interesting. The teacher was attentive and very approachable. Ended up with really nice clay items to take home.
The disapponting part was the fact we had to clean afterwards. I would expect this to be arranged for us and be included in the price. You don't wash in the restaurant after you eat, so why do you have to clean after this experience. I probably would have looked for another provider if I knew this was the case.

Response from the teacher: "I'm very sorry that you felt that way Stephen but same rules apply for cleaning afterwards for wheel throwing. Apparently it's same for every venue/class for throwing."

The teacher was really nice and patient. She is good at teaching and since it's a small class (I was actually alone that day), she can really focus on details. I enjoyed that studio, although the location is a little hard to find. Overall great class!

I'm glad the class was 2hrs, you need it. Had fun making a cup and a bowl. Teacher was very helpful. I don't think I could have done it on my own. Can't wait to see the finished product.

I bought this class as a gift for my girlfriend’s birthday and it was a fun and enjoyable experience. We met Shinhee an expert potter with over 20 years experience in St Peters. We started the class rolling clay and then had a quick demo where she demonstrated the wheel throwing techniques such as centering the clay and opening it up into various forms such as bowls, planters and jugs. After the demo we had plenty of time to practice what we learnt with Shinhee close by to give us a hand. I found the class challenging at times but we were given plenty of clay at the start in case we stuffed up our works of art. At the end of the class we got to select two of our favourite works for firing and glazing by Shinhee ready in 4 weeks, and we got to choose from different types of glazing for no additional cost. This was a great class and fun way to spend your Sunday. Would definitely recommend for gifts, birthdays, etc

My friend and I really enjoyed our class with Shinhee. She explained what she was doing thoroughly. I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to try wheel throwing. The location was difficult to find as there wasn’t any signage and there was lots of construction in the area.

It was a great class, Shin Hee was so hands on and a great teacher, she really ensured we had finished products in the end and explained things in detail. I would like more of an understanding into the processes following the wheelthrowing like the trimming etc, which I forgot to ask.

Shinhee was really friendly, very talented and a very good teacher.

It is one of the best workshop we've ever taken! We've never done this before but Shinhee is very patient and helpful, she went through the process by creating demos first and gave us some helps while we were creating ours. We came up with few cups, bowls and new skills! Really enjoy this wheel throwing experience, super happy that we can join this workshop on our anniversary. Would do this again!

The teacher was really helpful and polite and we came out with a great new skill that we’d like to try again. Word of advice, trim your nails ladies. Lots of fun, and you get to take home a couple creations as a souvenir too

Shinhee was very helpful and encouraging throughout the workshop. The 2 hours went by really quickly and we managed to make a few bowls and cups (picking two of the ones we liked the most) which we can't wait to see when they are done. Would love to try again as I started to understand the forming of the clay near the end of the session :)

This class was really amazing! The teacher was really good to be teaching us and helping out throughout the class. I gifted this to my husband and he took the class. He enjoyed every bit of clay making, wheel throwing and delicately maneuvering. He would love to come back for more. She also let me stay in throughout 2 hours class and watch a spectator. Overall amazing experience for all those who want to be creative. Also, you get along 2 of your best made pots (glazed and shiny) after a few weeks as a remembrance of your first ever pot you made! ♥♥♥
