This was a great class. Rachel and Chris were very knowledgeable and extremely friendly. We spent time getting to know the different scents within candle and making personal scents to ensure we made candles that each one of us would love. The class was great value for money - afternoon tea was provided and each participant took home five candles. Make sure you leave plenty of time to find a car park, it can take a while!

I recently attended a Soy Candle Making class and had a wonderful experience. Although the thought of making candles can be intimidating, the teachers were very supportive and made the process enjoyable every step of the way. We had plenty of time to experiment with different scents and make our unique candles. A break was also provided in between, where we were offered light snacks. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested!

I attended the class with two friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed the class. The teachers were very helpful and assisting us and explained the process very well. They were very helpful and provided tips on how to get the best results.

The venue was a little tricky to find but it was a nice open space that provided a calm environment to do the workshop at. The materials provided were of high quality and was easy to use.

I would highly recommend this workshop and more than worth the cost. We also got great support after the workshop with information on how to continue making candles.

This was a great activity for a party for mixed ages. We had 8 aged 13 - 14 years and 5 50 - 70' years. Rachel was a great explainer/host. We were made to feel very welcome and the candle making commenced. The instruction was informative and fun as we tried to train our senses. The pace was great, and everyone completed their chosen scented candles. It was great to take a break as the wax hardened and fitted in both eating and party fair.

Rachel held an amazing private class for us, we all had a great time and the venue was so fabulous! We played a little scent guessing game and then each made 5 candles (of our own scents) to bring home. There's plenty of time to mingle and chat with everyone there and have a few of the provided snacks. Honestly it couldn't have been any better, highly recommend choosing this class for any event!

We had a fantastic day. When I booked this class, I spoke with Rachel and explained that my sister had just had life changing surgery. Our experience doing this candlemaking class was described with words lovely, fun, wonderful, enjoyable and really nice, by my sister and her friend who’d travelled from interstate to do it. How beautiful that Chris, Rachel and Sarah, all family, created this company to spend more time together, as a family. They have brought that foundation of togetherness, and family, into their classes, and into their company. Friendly, sociable, fun, engaging and informative class which resulted in your own set of candles and a sense of accomplishment. Set in a relaxed and cosy setting, the wonderful Lucian team prpovide you with the resources and the know-how to introduce you into the world of soy candle making. You receive a greater awareness and appreciation for the work of soy candle makers and after smelling a multitude of scents you get to create your own from scratch and it is an incredible feeling (not to mention taking them home with you and the special quirky lid designs you come up with - optional but definitely recommended). Light snacks and refreshments are provided, which are delicious but would recommend ensuring dinner plans (and dessert) are pre-planned as well. Overall well worth the money and it is time well spent!

What an amazing opportunity. A fun way to spend a Saturday afternoon! The teachers were lovely and generous with their time and knowledge, including where to buy supplies and how much they cost. The venue, Wheat and Oat in Fyshwick, is a cozy café, and great coffee and home made delicious sweet and savory treats were included. All materials were supplied, including five take home quality soy candles created and fragranced by participants, and a bonus reed diffuser. We were taught how to make candles, but the focus of the class was all about fragrance, and we created our own fragrances for our candles. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend.
