It was a lovely relaxed class with only 2 x participants, as well as the teacher. We all made a Kokodama each. They all turned out fantastic. The instruction were easy and nothing was an issue. I even took my small toy poodle with me, who loved being there and who was no problem at all.

I recently attended a terrarium class, and I can’t recommend it enough! The shop itself is fantastic – clean, cozy, and filled with a wonderful selection of plants. The atmosphere was perfect for a fun and relaxing experience.

The facilitator was absolutely amazing! She was super friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about plants. She explained everything very clearly, making the process easy to follow, and even made it fun! I loved how approachable she was, offering help and guidance all the way through the class.

The class is suitable for all ages, which is a big plus. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, you'll feel comfortable and engaged. Plus, the shop has a great collection of plants, and you can even purchase them with a discount after the class – a nice bonus!

Overall, it was an incredibly enjoyable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning about terrariums. It’s a perfect blend of education, fun, and hands-on creativity!

Super easy to get there and was such a a beautiful store! They had so many options of plants but also ways to decorate. Jake was so friendly and was super informative. He was really helpful and gave great advice and was very patient with my perfectionism. Was an absolute delight and I am so so happy with my terrarium and feel confident that I will look after it

Thanks for a great little class. I took my niece a couple of weeks ago now as a gift and outing for us both. We had a fabulous teacher who was super lovely and patient(!) as we made our plant and theme choices for our terrariums. It was also nice to meet and support a local small business.

We absolutely loved our kokedama class! Wattle & Bee is a beautiful venue - a tranquil haven of indoor plants, books and other goodies. Felicity is delightful, patient and very knowledgeable and the plants and materials supplied were beautiful, sustainable and very high quality. Thank you Felicity, it’s so great to learn a new skill from someone who authentically loves what they do! We’ll definitely be making many more kokedamas for our family and friends (living plants make the best gifts, especially when they’ve been wrapped with love like these are!) The venue is easy to find with street parking nearby and the train station around the corner. Definitely recommend this class - a gift that will keep on giving!

Felicity is just the best - she was wonderful when we had to reschedule our original class. I had never been to her store before, but boy it's absolutely beautiful and she has so much knowledge and cares so much about plants. Making kokedamas was a lot of fun and I'm excited to make many more. I'd recommend this class to absolutely anyone looking to do something different, because Felicity will make this class an absolute delight for anyone.

This terrarium workshop has been our favourite workshop experience so far! Felicity was very welcoming, patient, passionate, and posseses all the other great qualities that make a great teacher. The succulent options were all very pretty and there was also a large selection of deco which made the whole process so much more fun. The both of us loved our new plant that we bought at the store and the terrariums that we made - it all turned out so beautifully at our home. Thank you Jake and Felicity for the experience

This was a complete surprise workshop for me from a friend for my birthday! This was such a fun event even if you aren’t plant obsessed! It’s such a creative, fun and engaging activity and you get to keep and create something that is so special. Flick is amazing and holds so much knowledge regarding plants. She is super lovely and guides you through the whole thing while still giving you space to do what you want!! Highly recommend!

I loved the kokedama workshop I attended in lovely room setup especially for botanicals workshops at Wattle & Bee!

Everything is provided for you so that all you have to do is concentrate on the technique and learning a new skill. Felicity is an attentive and supportive teacher who makes you feel that anything is possible. I left feeling inspired and wanting to make dozens more kokedama. It was also very meditative and enriching. I will be sure to sign up for the other workshop.

The shop is beautiful too. The walls are used to promote local artist works and there are some wonderful local products as well as absolutely sublime plants! It’s like stepping into a cool Victorian style greenhouse.
