With DIY craft box delivered to you

3 hours Class size 1 to 6 (public dates), 1 to 8 label $180 or 4 payments of $45 Afterpay

This is a ClassBento LiveBox class! From the comfort of your home, share an artisan experience with your friends, family or colleagues, or just enjoy with some like-minded others. As seen on The Guardian, TimeOut, Broadsheet, Concrete Playground, Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, and more. Here's how it works:

  1. Book or Request your preferred time
  2. We'll deliver a ClassBento Box to you - this is a physical DIY craft box containing the materials you'll need. Shipping is free, and it should arrive within 1-10 days. We ship nationwide.
  3. Enjoy the online class. You'll receive a link to a Zoom meeting. On the day of the class, use that link to join the class. Class sizes are kept small, so you can easily ask questions and get immediate responses. Zoom is free and easy to use, on any device - smartphone, tablet or laptop. You're in control of your privacy - you can mute yourself and hide your webcam if and when you prefer.

This live online class is a great opportunity to occupy yourself at home, learn something new and create a stunning piece of artwork at the same time! You will learn the technique of ceramic painting and make your very own exciting and unique painted tiled artwork that you'll be proud to hang on your wall.

To begin, you will learn about glass and ceramics painting in general, as well as materials and techniques which can be used to achieve various results. Then using stencils, which will be provided in your Craft Box, you will create your own "puzzle" of four different designs and colours that you like and transfer this pattern on to four ceramic tiles (15 x 15cm) using outliner and special paints.

The finished artwork will consist of four painted tiles set in a 30 x 30cm white frame.

This online class runs for three hours, providing enough time to show you different techniques and get to a point where you will feel comfortable on your own playing around with colours. You will also have ample to ask questions in real-time throughout the class.

The best thing about doing this class online is that:
- You can finish your artwork in your own pace, with no hurry and stress if it takes you a bit longer (and trust me it can take longer when it comes to choosing colours)
- You still will have some materials left which you can use to create another masterpiece!

After the class, you will get one week of chat support on Telegram or Whatsapp. That means that you can send me your questions and photos of your artwork if you need any help or advice.

Please note that listed time for this workshop is flexible. You can request any other day that suits you and I will do my best to make it available. This class is not suitable for pregnant women.

Stunning stained glass and ceramic painting

5.0 (22)

I am a ceramic and glass artist who originally hails from Russia but 2 years ago moved to Australia and now based in Northern Beaches of Sydney. I graduated from art school in my youth, but applied myself to the field of economics before returning to my roots with a course in Interior Decoration in the International Design School in Moscow in 2014 after 10 years of auditing.

To quit my job was a big desicion but now I can say - the best in my life. My family used to say that hobby can't be your full time job, but I disagreed.

I specialise in glass and ceramic painting, having started the former in 2013 in Moscow. I learned glass and ceramic painting by myself, step by step, year by year. And still learning: learning new techniques, new materials, new surfaces...

Constantly developing my work, I am currently in a period of transition and evolving from my previous style. I found contemporary art interesting to me and decided to use my mediums to create some pieces of art in another way.

If you are the one who loves stained glass painting, painted ceramic tiles or plates, fluid art...if you want to learn how to do it yoursellf, you are more than welcome to my workshops! I will tell you everything that I know.

Such a great class with useful information. This is something I really enjoyed and I feel confident I will continue doing on my own. Natalia was patient and really clear with her instructions and my tiles, though not finished, are looking really good.
