This is a ClassBento LiveBox class! From the comfort of your home, share an artisan experience (whilst maintaining physical distancing) with your friends, family or colleagues, or just enjoy with some like-minded others. As seen on The Guardian, TimeOut, Broadsheet, Concrete Playground and more. Here's how it works:

  1. Book or Request your preferred time
  2. We'll deliver a ClassBento Box to you - this is a physical craft box containing the materials you'll need. Shipping is free, and your Box should arrive within 2 to 4 business days for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra; 4 to 9 days elsewhere.
  3. Enjoy the class online. You'll receive a link to a Zoom meeting. On the day of the class, use that link to join the class. Class sizes are kept small, so you can easily ask questions and get immediate responses. Zoom is free and easy to use, on any device - smartphone, tablet or laptop. You're in control of your privacy - you can mute yourself and hide your webcam if and when you prefer.

Looking for fun kids indoor activities to keep the kids occupied and help them learn and develop their creative skills during quarantine? Well, we've got you covered with these live classes online!

Koinobori fish are traditionally made for children's day in Japan on May 5th. Landscapes across Japan are decorated with koinobori from April to early May to honour children in the hope they will grow up healthy and strong in the future. So let's make them together to provide us with a powerful symbol during this difficult time, plus they make things to do at home really beneficial to your kids.

In this live online class, you will:
- Make two koinobori fish to hang in your windows, to send out a message that you are doing OK!
- Learn how to make a koi fish based on the traditional Japanese koinbori which translates as 'carp streamers'.
- Work with a young person to assist them to construct their fish (this is a great adult/child project).
- Learn lots of different ways to decorate your fish and we will give you tips and ideas to make many more after the workshop has finished.

At the end of the live online class, you can hang your koinobori fish in your windows to let your neighbours know you are doing okay - one of the best things to do at home during this time!

I have had the best life ever, following my passions. I have worked as a script editor and writer and been a course leader and senior lecturer in the UK in film and TV and before that I was an illustrator and artist.

For the last 5 years have become increasingly interested in informal learning. I run classes around Sydney in different venues and concentrate on my passion of growing succulents, art and the art of teaching. I go by the name classbunny.
