If you’re chasing fun things to do at home, it doesn’t get much more hands-on than our Merchant and Green, Kokedama workshop via live stream.

Just because you’re indoors doesn’t mean you can’t exercise those green thumbs! Kokedama is the time-honoured Japanese craft of moss balls! Unpack your ClassBento Box and you’ll find everything you need to craft a beautiful hanging plant, the traditional Japanese way.

The team at Merchant and Green, will show you all the ins and outs of this fascinating craft via Zoom. Use your materials to make your own Kokedama as you’re guided step by step by an experienced florist.

Instead of Googling things to do when you’re bored get crafty and creative with your indoor activities!

I thought the instructions were easy enough to follow. I was pleased to have managed to keep it all together and get the string around it! The Zoom meet was good and clear.
I was pleased to receive my kit in good time, however I was concerned to be able to keep the plant alive for the in between time.
Overall a good class and I will try to revamp an old one that I have.

I purchased a private class for my team during isolation and it was fantastic. It ticked the box for my team feeling reinvigorated and doing something to feel connected again. Even though it was online, it still had the feeling like we were all in the studio together which was great. Will definitely be doing this again!
