What you'll do
Obsessed with Italy's soft and tender potato dumplings? You'll love this hands-on virtual gnocchi making class!
Gather the basic ingredients and join a small group online at dinner time, as we prepare a delicious authentic meal at home.
Cooking teacher and chef Antonella Floyd will guide you through making gnocchi from scratch (just like Nonna's). You can ask all your questions and get plenty of tips along the way as you learn how to make the dough, shape it and cook it - with the secret to achieving that perfect silky texture.
At the end of the class, you'll have made a traditional potato gnocchi dish coated in a creamy Boscaiola sauce, ready to enjoy!
Please note: you will need to provide your own ingredients and basic kitchen equipment. A comprehensive list will be sent to you upon booking.

Antonella Floyd
An Australian-born Italian, Antonella discovered her love of cooking as a little girl. She spent many hours in the kitchen with her mother, learning and taking note of the traditional methods and family secrets of true Italian cooking.
Today, Antonella still loves cooking and remains faithful to the traditional values, whilst combining authentic recipes and ingredients with modern trends, tastes and techniques.
As a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute, she has worked as a chef in a variety of restaurants. She has also produced and marketed a range of gourmet Italian products at farmers markets throughout Sydney.
Since 2008, Antonella has been sharing her knowledge and passion through her Italian cooking classes. She believes cooking Italian food is about achieving excellent flavours without it having to be difficult and always using fresh, quality ingredients.
Antonella’s classes are a fun, hands-on, personalised learning experience, where she shares her personal recipes, lots of tips along the way, a little about the Italian culture and you can even learn some Italian words while cooking and eating delicious food.
For lovers of Italian food, come and experience the passion and cook and eat like an Italian for a few hours. Buon Appetito!
