Module 1: Discover Your Foundation
Module one provides a foundation for understanding the history, forms and theoretical underpinnings of meditation. Students will be guided through a relaxing meditation to integrate the meditation skill of, Grounding. A simple guide and journalling prompt will be provided to explore the skill within a home practice.

Module 2: Discover Your Breath
Module two explores the evidence-based research and the science of meditation. The group will explore a series of Breathing techniques before being guided through a specially designed meditation to integrate the skill. A simple guide and reflective journal prompts will be provided to support a home practice and finding your preferred Breathing technique for calm.

Module 3: Discover Your Mantra
Module three will allow students to uncover a deeper understanding of how to manage busy thoughts. A grounded and practical approach will be provided to support greater self-compassion, self-love and awareness with the ‘monkey mind’. Each student will create an individualised Mantra to aid focus in their practice before being guided through a powerful meditation to integrate the skill.

Module 4: Discover Visualisation
Formal meditation practices provide a practice that may have a set time, technique and posture. Informal practices can include activities where we bring our full presence to the task at hand. Module Four provides a space for students to activate their sense of Visualisation and explore mindful art making. With guidance, students will be taken through a rich meditation to integrate the skill of visualisation. A simple guide and journalling prompt will be provided to explore the skill within a home practice.

Module 5: Discover Compassion and Self-Awareness
Feelings and emotions are a natural part of our human existence. The Open Awareness technique allows one to cultivate a loving awareness of emotions and to become the observer. The Open Awareness technique can bring forward the next step in your meditation practice and ability to cultivate presence.

Module 6: Discover Mindful Movement
Gentle, subtle and nourishing mindful movement can be a powerful technique to move stagnation, anxiety, or stress within the physical body. This module of study will look at the history of this technique before students are guided through a soft Movement meditation to integrate this skill.

Module 7: Discover Your Unique Practice
Wellbeing Arc values our student’s growth and we believe in providing our students time to integrate taught skills. In this final module, students will be provided with the time and space to explore contraindications (challenges that may arise in your future practice), and reflective journal exercises to evaluate, and allow for the unique embodiment of your practice.
