What you'll do

If you are looking for fun indoor activities for kids these school holidays then you have come to the right place! Let your kids join Sydney Cooking School in Neutral Bay for a day of cooking classic Mexican dishes in a fun and welcoming environment.

Kids don't need any experience to enjoy this beginner-friendly class, as they will be provided with hands-on guidance, careful instruction and tons of information that will spark their interest in cooking!

They will not only learn how to cook delicious Mexican food but also get to sample it on the day and take home any leftovers, meaning one less dinner you will need to worry about for the day.

Please note:

No knives will be used in this class.
Most dietary requirements can be catered for with advance notice. Please contact us at least two business days before the class with any dietary requirements or allergies.
Both male and female staff will be present during the class.
Some photographs may be taken during the class the share in our newsletter or on our social media.
If you have attended one of our classes previously, please let us know the items you have cooked previously so we can endeavour to avoid repeating the same items where possible.

Sydney Cooking School opened in 2010 when Executive Chef Brett Deverall pursued his dream to share his love andpassion of cooking in a fun and relaxed learning environment. Offering a range of cooking classes daily, our Neutral Bay venue is fitted with state of the art appliances and equipment from Fisher & Paykel, Breville and Anolon.

Our experienced and passionate team take pride in teaching practical, entertaining and informative cooking classes or hosting your next event.

We have a variety of themed menus and packages available, and our formats are suitable to anyone, from the absolute beginner to the more passionate cook. As well as our regularly scheduled classes, we offer masterclasses in Pastry, Chicken & Duck and Pork & Cider, as well as Children’s School Holiday classes.

If you prefer to be out of the Kitchen join us in our fabulous BBQ area for one of our Popular BBQ classes – Things really heat up in these classes so ensure you dress comfortably.
