We provide washed and tumble dried apron and cotton groves, disposable groves for each students. We also use sanitizer to clean tables, chairs and door knobs. The sanitizers are also available for students.

Also, this class has a flexible cancellation/rescheduling policy, so participants are encouraged not to attend if they are unwell

Make a mini zen garden!

A mini zen garden is a healing method that anyone can easily do. Place a stone on a tray or plate and draw a line on the sand to create your own Mini Zen Garden. Practicing this will help you find inner peace. Mini Zen Garden healing is a space where you can reflect on yourself.

During this class, you will learn about the history of the zen garden including:
- The famous Zen Gardens in Japan and learn how to go and the highlights in the surrounding area
- The importance of stones in the Zen Garden
- Learn how to assemble stones and what they mean
- Learn about sand crests and practice how to draw them
- Meditate to create a Zen Garden image
- Create your own original mini zen garden (you can make it multiple times within the session)
- You will talk about the Zen Garden you have created

You can choose to purchase a Zen Garden kit to take home when you book.

About Zen Garden
Zen Garden is a type of Japanese garden that does not use water; it is unique to Japan that expresses natural scenery such as mountains and rivers with stones and sand. In Japan, it is called KARESANSUI.Karesansui is not about splendid scenery, but a calming space. Therefore, it is still used as a place for meditation.

This class is a suitable for a birthday, hens party, team building activity, corporate event, bucks party or Christmas party.

Suitable for adults, and kids (minimum 12 years old). An adult must accompany any attending kids, and must pay for a separate ticket.

Jun moved from Tokyo, Japan to Sydney, Australia in the mid 80', but it was much later until he fell in love with the art of Kinstugi in the mid 2010's where he returned to Japan to pursue more knowledge in the art of Kinstugi.

Since 2015 he has learnt the art from five different masters of the art in Japan. He has now come back to Sydney Australia to teach everyone of all ages wishing to learn and develop their skills in Kinstugi.

He founded Kintsugi Australia in 2018 to spread the knowledge and beauty of kintsugi to Aussies and the world.

She is Jun ‘s wife.she learned Kintsugi from Jun. She has a Kintsugi Accessory Class .
Hitomi is a naturopath and healing expert, and has visited many Zen Gardens for research.

Kimie
She is the first Jun’s student. She learned Kintsugi from 2017 in a Jun’s class. Her knowledge and technique are splendid now. Her Kintsugi is delicate very beautifully.
She knows a lot about Japanese history and Zen Garden.
The teaching is popular with students.

Kumi
She learned Kintsugi from Jun. She is familiar with Japanese history and Zen Garden.Her teaching is very kind.

Masano was born in Kyoto, the home of Zen Garden. She has been familiar with Zen Garden since childhood.
