2.5 hours Class size 8 to 15     label $63

Learn all there is to know about how to make your own natural skincare products without the many synthetics and chemicals found in store-bought products at this hands-on workshop. It's a must-do in Melbourne for anyone wanting to make their own DIY beauty products and you will even walk away with your own homemade beauty products at the end!

During this two-hour workshop, we’ll talk about how essential oils can help give you glowing, healthy skin, which essential oils are best for each skin type and which synthetics and chemicals you should be avoiding in your skincare and why. You’ll learn how to blend essential oils with plant-derived carrier oils and other ingredients to make body oil, deodorant, face wash, makeup remover, face serum plus loads more nourishing skincare recipes.

You will also make your own lip balm, face mist and perfume blend, scented with essential oils of your choosing to take home. And, you’ll take home a recipe booklet, including all the details covered in the workshop with recipes to begin making your own products.

Our skin is our biggest organ and many of the chemicals and synthetic fragrances used in store-bought skincare products are untested for long term safety. So, what better way to know what you’re putting on your skin than to make it yourself!

Think is a combined shopfront and creative events venue in Thornbury founded in 2017 by Melbourne artist Maggie May (from the Middle Aisle), and musician and educator Joshua Kelly.

We formed to nurture and support our local community of artists and creators, while simultaneously empowering people to develop creative thought through their interactions with artists’ products and workshops.

Our store has a strong focus on local Australian made and ethically produced products, while our workshop venue connects customers directly to these makers through our workshop series and creative events.
