Looking for new ways to be eco-conscious? Learn how to create your own beautiful remedy balm and remedy perfume in the comfort of your home with Kirsty from Parva: Little Things!

During the class, we will discuss easy ways to reduce the toxic load on our bodies and on our planet through homemade zero-waste, low-impact swaps.

Whether this is your first DIY attempt, you are a hardcore DIYer or you just love skincare, this workshop is an excellent confidence builder in learning how to make some lovely, simple and satisfying skincare products at home.

You can choose from the different blends listed below to create a nourishing balm matched with a beautiful remedy perfume oil:

  • Clarity Blend - (Grapefruit, Bergamot, Basil, Lemon) - citrus with a touch of heady herb.
  • Sleepy Time - (Lavender, Lemon, Marjoram, Roman Chamomile) - floral, citrus and herbs.

All skin types are catered for and everyone is welcome! Please advise of any allergy issues or if you are pregnant when booking.


Knowledge required
No previous knowledge required but we will be using a stove to make the balms so proceed with caution.

What you'll need
  • Saucepan
  • Glass jar (any clean empty food jar works well as a beaker or heatproof pyrex jug)
  • Measuring spoons/cups
  • Water
  • 80/100ml of any cooking oil (sunflower/rice bran/grapeseed/canola oil/coconut/olive/sesame)

Classes teach a range of skills that are related to design, art and craft. We are also an open workshop space and drop-in sewing studio for Designers, Artists, Makers and Creatives. Are workshop is located on the edge of the city in Chippendale.
