Being able to transform a flat sheet of paper into 3D form, using your own hands, seems magical. Do you know that paper cranes appeared at the ceremonies in Japan in the 16th century? The most famous and popular origami in the world has more than 400 years of history.
Midori is a very experienced Japanese origami instructor in Sydney. Her workshops were held at numerous places, e.g. the Art Gallery of NSW, Powerhouse Museum, Japan Foundation Hazelhurst Art Center and more. Midori is looking forward to meeting you to share the joy of making origami!
The workshop fee includes the material cost. Green tea and sweets will be served. No experience is necessary.

Saturday 7 May 11am-12.30pm
Sunday 19 June 11am-12.30pm
Please note:
- You are free to re-schedule with three days notice or 24 hours notice if you must Covid-isolate. The notice must be made via email.
- Request the workshop with two to three of your preferred dates and your choice of the program.
No knowledge is required.
Please let me know if you have already attended my origami workshop previously. I will serve new programs for you.
