What you'll do

Connect with friends, family or work colleagues in this creative Paint and Sip Class! Sip wine and relax by the water's edge in Kylie's special Boathouse Studio in Bayview or she can come to you!

These creative classes are a great way to learn how to paint your favourite canvas in a relaxed and fun environment whilst you socialise and unwind to an upbeat music playlist.

This class is perfect for beginners as you will be guided step by step, sip by sip by artist Kylie Johnson, while allowing your own creative ideas to flow. Leave your worries at the door and come ready to express your inner artist!

Have something to look forward to and book in your own private group of friends to this unique luxury seaside studio in Bayview or come along solo in our regular class. We can also come to you for your own private function in your choice of venue.

Paint and sip classes are perfect for all occasions such as Christmas parties, hens nights, baby showers, birthday parties, corporate events, team building, fundraisers, teacher activities, friendship groups, mothers groups, date nights or family outings.

If booking a private group, we'll send you a selection of paintings to choose from for the day. All art materials will be provided so just bring yourself, some BYO snacks and drinks of your choice and let's get painting and sipping together!

Please note:

Public classes will need to have a minimum of three students before they can run. In the case where this number is not reached, your teacher will contact you to discuss rescheduling.
There is a surcharge of $150 for private mobile pop up classes.
$50 fee for private class bookings.

Credits are offered where covid persists.

If your looking to connect via zoom with your team instead, this can also be organised!

Create your own artwork with a canvas, paints and easel provided! Glassware for all your drinks in the studio, not pop-ups.

BYO wine and nibbles if desired. Kylie can put you in touch with a caterer to deliver your grazing boxes!

I am an artist/author and I create and publish wellbeing resources for kids and adults using my love of art and positive psychology. These resources encourage a positive mindset and self belief through creativity and mindfulness.

I love facilitating private groups for "Paint & Sip" classes for adults, or "Paint & Singalong" parties for children at my Bayview Boathouse Studio or as a pop up at venues to suit. It brings me the greatest of joy to see most people as beginners leaving proud and enlightened to how joyful, healing and satisfying painting can be! My classes can be catered for any special occasion, Team building, Xmas Parties, Corporate events, friendship groups, family, Aged care, fundraisers, hens nights, birthdays, parent/child, mothers groups or date nights. Otherwise you can come to my regular class with friends or come solo.
If you are a school, therapist or shopping centre looking for unique kids workshop ideas, or creative kids birthday parties, I do workshops using Arts & Crafts as a tool to teach children important values such as Gratitude, Kindness & mindfulness which helps children to live a happier life!

My Passion is to share all that I have learnt on my own healing journey helping everyone to feel the benefits of creativity, a positive mindset and the joy that painting/creativity brings to all ages.

The rest of the time you'll find me painting large canvases of all things beautiful; boats, holiday destinations & treasured moments. Commissioned art of loved ones, special memories and places are also welcome. If i had time I would paint everything beautiful that I see! :-)

We had the beautiful Kylie Johnson as our instructor. She was very helpful with assisting my staff in a team building activity. We laughed, sang along with her great playlist and just had the best time. Kylie came to Hyatt Regency in Darling harbour, with all her equipment as it was easier to have the amount of people stay in the one place rather than try and move them all. This made the activity run so smoothly.
I have never painted, as most of the staff and we were all very surprised in what we all achieved.

Thank Kylie for a great evening!

I had a wonderful time doing Paint'n'Sip at Bayview. The location is absolutely magical and parking was easy nearby. We were able to bring our own snacks which was great too.

I am not a painter by any means, but Kylie guided us through the process and by the end I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. I would definitely do it again, and I'll be sure to recommend it to friends. Looking at all her different art on the walls, so much inspiration, there would be something for everybody.

Everything was supplied, the paints and brushes were fantastic, the paint just glided on. I thought it was great value for money.

What a wonderful experience we had last night for a girls night out at Kylie’s boat shed paint and sip class.
The studio with water views is the perfect backdrop for the creative spirit to flow helped by a drop or too of vino!
Kylie is warm, inviting, creative and inspirational.
I even surprised myself with painting something that resembled hydrangeas with a little bit of help!

Upon arriving at the studio we were welcomed by the lovely Kylie, Zia, the gorgeous studio pup and blown away by the spectacular Bayview water view.

As we settled in with our bubbles, we started discussing with Kylie the construct of the painting and the next 3 hours just flowed. The music in the studio never stopped nor did the chatter, laughter and cuddles from Zia.

Kylie provided us a few options and we ended up combining a couple of her artwork into one. She was wonderful in listening to our suggestions and we improvised to personalise the artwork. We mixed and created new colours and she was ever so accommodating with our ideas as well as having absolutely all the tools there for us ready when we need them.

Kylie also has a super positive and energetic personality. My girlfriend and I felt that we had a well-being reawakening after spending the morning with Kylie and is already planning family activities next with Kylie.

Not to worry if you’re not particularly artistic, Kylie can cater for the needs of the different experiences! Just sign up and be prepared to enjoy!

It was an absolute delight to spend the afternoon with Kylie – the scenery was to absolutely beautiful, her careful instruction and encouragement to help to create our “masterpieces” was provided with just the right balance of humor and nurture, and it was all topped off with really good company. We did this paint and sip class as our work Xmas party. It was such a beautiful venue overlooking Pittwater to Scotland Island. Kylie the artist was very friendly and helpful. She had a great music playlist, which made a fun atmosphere. Our whole team enjoyed the night, and would highly recommend this class to anyone.
