These creative painting classes are a great way to learn how to paint your favourite canvas in a relaxed and fun environment whilst you socialise and unwind to an upbeat music playlist.
This class is perfect for beginners as you will be guided step by step, sip by sip by artist Kylie Johnson, while allowing your own creative ideas to flow. Leave your worries at the door and come ready to express your inner artist!
Bring a private group of friends to this unique luxury seaside studio in Bayview or come solo to one of our regular classes. We can also come to you for your own private function in your choice of venue for larger numbers! Great for Birthday parties, Hens nights, Baby showers, Fundraisers, Teacher wellbeing activities, friendship groups, end of year schoolies, mothers groups, parent/child groups, date nights or family outings.
If booking a private group, we'll send you a selection of paintings to choose from for the day. All easels, aprons and art materials will be provided so just bring yourself, some BYO snacks and drinks of your choice and let's get painting and sipping together!

I am an artist/author and I create and publish wellbeing resources for kids and adults using my love of art and positive psychology.
I love facilitating private groups for "Paint & Sip" classes for adults, or "Paint & Singalong" parties for children at my Bayview Boathouse Art Studio or as a pop up at venues to suit.
It brings me the greatest of joy to see most people as beginners leaving proud and enlightened to how joyful, therapeutic and satisfying painting can be!
My classes can be catered for any special occasion, Team building activities, Xmas Parties, Corporate events, friendship groups, family outings, Aged care, fundraisers, hens nights, birthdays, parent/child groups, mothers groups, teacher wellbeing activities or date nights.
I also do Kids Creative Workshops using Arts & Crafts to teach children important values such as Gratitude, Kindness and a Positive mindset which helps children to live a happier life!
The rest of the time you'll find me painting large canvases for Art Galleries of all things beautiful; boats, holiday scenery & any special moments captured on film. Commissioned art of loved ones, special memories and places are also welcome.

Kylie is a vivacious, encouraging, talented and warm spark who made us feel instantly welcome and empowered to paint. Her studio is bright with the most stunning view and with a tailored playlist, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. My husband and I enjoyed our class so much that we bought my parents a private class which they absolutely loved. We had the most wonderful fun at Kylies Paint and Sip class. Kylie was warm, friendly, engaging and took the mums and little girls through a fun afternoon of painting and singing along to her party mix! She made the nervous artists feel very comfortable and her step by step instructions were very clear.
Kylie supplied all the art supplies, and they were all very good quality and well maintained. We left on dusk with a masterpiece each and some special school holiday memories with our daughters. Thank you Kylie! See you again soon! xx

We had the beautiful Kylie Johnson as our instructor. She was very helpful with assisting my staff in a team building activity. We laughed, sang along with her great playlist and just had the best time. Kylie came to Hyatt Regency in Darling harbour, with all her equipment as it was easier to have the amount of people stay in the one place rather than try and move them all. This made the activity run so smoothly.
I have never painted, as most of the staff and we were all very surprised in what we all achieved.

I had a wonderful time doing Paint'n'Sip at Bayview. The location is absolutely magical and parking was easy nearby. We were able to bring our own snacks which was great too.
I am not a painter by any means, but Kylie guided us through the process and by the end I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. I would definitely do it again, and I'll be sure to recommend it to friends. Looking at all her different art on the walls, so much inspiration, there would be something for everybody.
Everything was supplied, the paints and brushes were fantastic, the paint just glided on. I thought it was great value for money.

What a wonderful experience we had last night for a girls night out at Kylie’s boat shed paint and sip class.
The studio with water views is the perfect backdrop for the creative spirit to flow helped by a drop or too of vino!
Kylie is warm, inviting, creative and inspirational.
I even surprised myself with painting something that resembled hydrangeas with a little bit of help!

Upon arriving at the studio we were welcomed by the lovely Kylie, Zia, the gorgeous studio pup and blown away by the spectacular Bayview water view.
As we settled in with our bubbles, we started discussing with Kylie the construct of the painting and the next 3 hours just flowed. The music in the studio never stopped nor did the chatter, laughter and cuddles from Zia.
Kylie provided us a few options and we ended up combining a couple of her artwork into one. She was wonderful in listening to our suggestions and we improvised to personalise the artwork. We mixed and created new colours and she was ever so accommodating with our ideas as well as having absolutely all the tools there for us ready when we need them.
Kylie also has a super positive and energetic personality. My girlfriend and I felt that we had a well-being reawakening after spending the morning with Kylie and is already planning family activities next with Kylie.

we all had such a great time, Kylie came and set it all up in the gym tranforming it and adding in wow factor when our clients turned up, the painting she choose was great everyone to follow along to and finish up with painting that they are happy to put up in their homes. It was an absolute delight to spend the afternoon with Kylie – the scenery was to absolutely beautiful, her careful instruction and encouragement to help to create our “masterpieces” was provided with just the right balance of humor and nurture, and it was all topped off with really good company. Kylie ran the perfect team building event for our group of 40. We had a fantastic setting overlooking the water and Kylie took us through each step to create our works of art. The team had so much fun and were very impressed with their results. Kylie was very attentive leading up to the event and on the day, to ensure every detail had been considered and the team could relax and enjoy the day. This was such a successful activity for our Christmas Party! The team raved about it. Kylie is friendly and fun and helps everyone find the artist within themselves.
