What you'll do

During the lockdown, it is so important to stay connected with our friends and work teammates. Why not connect in a fun way with this paint and sip class on Zoom!

For this private painting class, artist Kylie Johnson will guide you step by step - and sip by sip - through learning how to paint your artwork while playing some upbeat music in between steps.

You and your friends can have something to look forward to, share some laughs and escape any worries whilst in the creative flow!

Choose your favourite artwork from Kylie's range and have fun with these indoor activities during lockdown or anytime with your friends or family that may live in different states! Don't let borders shut off or Covid 19 restrictions stop you from having fun with the ones you love!

Request your own private groups for a minimum of four, at a time that suits you and enjoy two hours escaping stress and learning how to paint!

Knowledge required

Absolute beginners welcome. No skills are required.

What to bring

All art materials are cheap and great to set up at home, available at Officeworks or your local craft/variety stores. Or click and collect stores such as Kmart.

A 30 x 40cm or 40 x 50cm canvas
Small, medium, large paintbrushes
Water pot or two
Cloth
Table easel if desired
Apron or old clothes
Acrylic paint set - primary colours: black, white, blue, red, yellow. brown ideally, Or any other favourite shades of colours you may have
Your choice of Vino, champagne or cocktails!

I am an artist/author and I create and publish wellbeing resources for kids and adults using my love of art and positive psychology. These resources encourage a positive mindset and self belief through creativity and mindfulness.

I love facilitating private groups for "Paint & Sip" classes for adults, or "Paint & Singalong" parties for children at my Bayview Boathouse Studio or as a pop up at venues to suit. It brings me the greatest of joy to see most people as beginners leaving proud and enlightened to how joyful, healing and satisfying painting can be! My classes can be catered for any special occasion, Team building, Xmas Parties, Corporate events, friendship groups, family, Aged care, fundraisers, hens nights, birthdays, parent/child, mothers groups or date nights. Otherwise you can come to my regular class with friends or come solo.
If you are a school, therapist or shopping centre looking for unique kids workshop ideas, or creative kids birthday parties, I do workshops using Arts & Crafts as a tool to teach children important values such as Gratitude, Kindness & mindfulness which helps children to live a happier life!

My Passion is to share all that I have learnt on my own healing journey helping everyone to feel the benefits of creativity, a positive mindset and the joy that painting/creativity brings to all ages.

The rest of the time you'll find me painting large canvases of all things beautiful; boats, holiday destinations & treasured moments. Commissioned art of loved ones, special memories and places are also welcome. If i had time I would paint everything beautiful that I see! :-)
