As an artist and designer, Prue Burnstein has a background in children's fashion and was the baby and children's wear designer for iconic aussie brand "Bonds". She also ran her own successful children's wear business, Billy Duck for a number of years.

Prue has created Paper Rock Scissors Art Studio as a creative outlet for herself as well as providing a space for the community around her.
Paper Rock Scissors Art Studios runs regular after school art classes for junior school and high school aged children, as well evening/weekend workshops for all ages.

I thought the convenience of having all materials sent out was fab. I did think there was quite limited instruction from Prue. What would have been ideal, as she told us how to work with acrylic paint on the canvas she mentioned mixing on the canvas - if she could have shown us that specifically on the canvas. Also some more basics re; mixing for different colours. I did think the pictures were beautiful and I enjoyed the quiet time to do this with friends.

The venue was lovely and the class to teacher ratio was 1:8. There was several paintings available to choose from making it fun to compare with friends.
I would have liked a little more guidance from the teach but also appreciated the freedom of the class to have fun
