Our private cooking space as part of regular practice, is disinfected with food grade sanitiser along with all equipment and materials. Gloves are available and frequent washing of hands is already part of our cooking class schedule.

Handmade pasta, cannoli and cocktails anyone? There’s a reason that this Sydney pasta making workshop is one of Salt Meats Cheese’s most sought-after classes. As you learn to handcraft pasta from scratch, the mysterious workings of a pasta machine will be revealed and you will perfect a dough that is silky, smooth and delicious.

Salt Meats Cheese has not forgotten dessert! You will learn how to make cannoli, an authentic Italian dessert that’s surely one of Sicily’s greatest contributions to the international food world. After you fill your crunchy fried pastry cases with a sweetened ricotta filling, then dip into various toppings, you’ll be guided in the need-to-know tips to make an Espresso Martini, the perfect companion to your dessert.

At the end of the pasta making lesson, you will possess both a satisfied belly and an appreciation for how luscious fresh pasta can be, as well as the inspiration to continue making cannoli and Espresso Martinis at home.

Sarah was our teacher and she was just absolutely amazing. She made the class entertaining and she is clearly knowledgable about pasta making! She was very informative, helpful and super friendly. Who knew making pasta was super easy! You just need some muscles to help you with the pasta rolling bit! Definitely great value for money and will definitely recommend friends to do this class!
