What you'll do
Learn how to create your own ceramic pieces in this pottery class in Sydney, and bring them home with you!
Whether you’re looking for a relaxing night with friends or fun art classes for adults, pottery is a fun activity that can be enjoyed by all.
All materials and tools will be provided for your peace of mind. You’ll learn basic hand building, finishing, and ceramic painting techniques. You’ll also be able to decorate and paint your own ceramic creations.
After the class, your hand built pottery will be fired in a kiln, making it stronger and creating a beautiful finish.
The completed products from the class will be ready for collection from Maker’s Loft studio two weeks after.
Get together with work colleagues or friends over some pottery and wine. It’s perfect if you’re looking for rainy day activities in Sydney to try.
This class allows BYO drinks & snacks. We will provide glasses & plates for your use.

It was a great evening and the time just flew by. The teachers Anouke & Sacha were
really knowledgeable & helpful. The session was very well planned with regards to content, timing, and equipment provided and we had the chance to create several different pieces during the workshop. The aspect that made the evening special was that although there were specific items we were shown how to make, we were also given the freedom to create other designs, if we wanted.

It was only a group of 4 and it felt very personalised. Our teacher had the time to spend as little or as much time as each participant wished to assist with their creations, giving specialised tips and advice.
I strongly recommend this class, the 3hr absolutely flew by and left us wondering where all the time went. Would love to go back and have sign up for any of their other offerings.

We had such a great time at our hand built pottery class at Maker’s Loft! Our teacher Anouk was fabulous - welcoming, encouraging, knowledgable and made us feel at home. The space is really great, and it was a really perfect night out all round. I’ll definitely go back to Makers Loft in the future!

I organised a team event for my workplace and everyone loved it! Communication was easy and the teachers were lovely and helpful! Everything was supplied on the night, we were able to make 2-3 things each, everyone had a blast. Highly recommend

This was such a brilliant introduction to pottery. The class was loads of fun, a good size, and it felt you covered just the right amount in the time we had.

We had a fantastic time at pottery and plonk for my sisters hen’s night. Anouke was a great host and teacher, the space was beautiful, we brought some extra decorations and food/drinks but what was provided was more than sufficient. We were shown how to make pinch pots and how to use that as a base for making chimes, bowls, or anything else we could imagine. It was very relaxed and fun, would highly recommend!
