Pottery and Sculpture Class

Small, highly flexible, hands on classes.

2.5 hours 8 label $133

Established in 1998, the organisation of these classes is unique.

The focus of these classes is simple: Learn, relax, and enjoy creating your own masterpieces at your own pace.

Highly professional and customised instruction is always provided at a level appropriate to each students skill (or lack of) and background.

This is possible as the average class size is 6 students (Private group workshops: 12 students).

A (sometimes 2, rarely 3) new student is enrolled in any class, only when an existing student is tempoarily away for an extended period or leaves.

Because of the small classes, the new student/s receive immediate assistance whenever required or requested.

Instruction is focussed on teaching skills that may be practiced at home with little equipment.

The fee is for first lesson and 10 kg clay. Free tools, tea and coffee. If happy during the first lesson, decide and buy as few or many classes as suits your personal motivation and budget. (generous immediate Beginner, and Bulk, discounts are available). Kiln firing, glazes and further clay is available on site at reasonable prices.

Classes can be taken individually or in series, and can be started, paused and resumed at a time suitable to you. Students may move freely between different days and class times. Consequently each group is socially dynamic, full of healthy and happy people, stimulating conversations ,within a relaxed atmosphere.

The classes are ongoing with no semester breaks, except the extended Christmas break and when the tutor is teaching or exhibiting interstate and overseas.

The Classes are held In a light filled working artists studio within a beautiful inner city park. Free parking and frequent bus from CBD.

You will be welcomed into a supportive community of similar, like minded students and artists.

This class is available on Request for groups of 8+.

Don't have a group of 8+ students? If you're happy to pay a higher price per person (total of $1,109 for the class), you can just Request to book this class for 8 students (and attend with fewer guests).
