The Wheel Throwing Introduction Workshop was amazing and we had a lot of fun creating unique pieces. I was surprised how difficult wheel throwing actually is but Shontal is an amazing teacher and guided us patiently and with a good sense of humour through every step. She made us aware of potential common mistakes helping us to prevent them and made sure we understood the reasons behind her recommendations. The class was small with only 6 people which allowed Shontal to support each of us individually.I can highly recommend this workshop and would do it any time again. Thanks Shontal for a lovely Saturday afternoon!

Make a Fish-Shaped Planter or Tea Light Holder Workshop

We absolutely loved our pottery class with Shantal. We organised a private lesson of mothers and teenage daughters and we had so much fun. I can’t imagine going to learn pottery from anyone else and our girls had so much fun.

The class was fun, enjoyable and personal. We went for our 9th ur anniversary and it endef up being just the two of us which was lovely. The teacher is very nice and helpful with good steps and insructions since neither of us have done pottery before

Shontel is an amazing teacher. She breaks the whole process down and explains it so well, step by step. She makes sure everyone is looked after and creates a lovely group energy. She is calm and patient and available for everyone individually as they need throughout the lesson. We all came away with a piece we were proud of and excited to collect from Shontel after she is lovely enough to arrange kilning. Communication is amazing, great instructions on getting there and collection of our Pottery pieces. Would highly recommend and even do again. Shontel is the best. Thanks Shontel.

We attended this class (hubby and I) as it was a gift from our son for our birthdays. We found Shontal to be lovely and very knowledgeable about her craft and very willing to show you everything she knew. She went through the steps with us first and then showed us how she did it step by step on the wheel and then we got the chance to make a pot on the wheel! It went from being scary to having the confidence to turn up the speed and do things we never thought we could with clay! In the end we both had cute looking pots that we made and decorated. We cant wait to pickup the finished pots - the waiting will be the hardest thing but we enjoyed the class and the 3 hours went by very quick as we were so busy creating. If you have never tried wheel pottery you should - as its fun and very different to other pottery styles.

I purchased two places for the Introduction to Wheel Throwing Workshop for my wife and I for a wedding anniversary gift. Well, we both enjoyed it thoroughly. Shontal explained all the steps required and made it easy to understand. Was it as easy as they make it look in the movies? No! but we had an awesome time trying our Ghost movie remake and there was a lot of laughs.
