Shontel is an amazing teacher. She breaks the whole process down and explains it so well, step by step. She makes sure everyone is looked after and creates a lovely group energy. She is calm and patient and available for everyone individually as they need throughout the lesson. We all came away with a piece we were proud of and excited to collect from Shontel after she is lovely enough to arrange kilning. Communication is amazing, great instructions on getting there and collection of our Pottery pieces. Would highly recommend and even do again. Shontel is the best. Thanks Shontel.

We attended this class (hubby and I) as it was a gift from our son for our birthdays. We found Shontal to be lovely and very knowledgeable about her craft and very willing to show you everything she knew. She went through the steps with us first and then showed us how she did it step by step on the wheel and then we got the chance to make a pot on the wheel! It went from being scary to having the confidence to turn up the speed and do things we never thought we could with clay! In the end we both had cute looking pots that we made and decorated. We cant wait to pickup the finished pots - the waiting will be the hardest thing but we enjoyed the class and the 3 hours went by very quick as we were so busy creating. If you have never tried wheel pottery you should - as its fun and very different to other pottery styles.

I purchased two places for the Introduction to Wheel Throwing Workshop for my wife and I for a wedding anniversary gift. Well, we both enjoyed it thoroughly. Shontal explained all the steps required and made it easy to understand. Was it as easy as they make it look in the movies? No! but we had an awesome time trying our Ghost movie remake and there was a lot of laughs.

Amazing experience with an incredible teacher! We loved it. Shontal was so knowledgeable, patient with our beginner skills and made us feel so at ease given it was our very first wheel throwing lesson. The venue was so cute and cosy and we felt right at home. The class was intimate and we all got one on one help where we needed it. We found the lesson to be very informative but also very relaxing and meditating for our souls. 10/10 experience, we loved everything about it and we walked out with two beautiful pieces each!

We were a group of 4 that has never done wheel throwing pottery before and all 4 of us managed to make a piece we were porud of with the guidence of Shontel. As a teacher she was great and able to adapt to our different learning styles quickly. Booking was easy and Shontel provides very clear instructions on what to bring, how to prepare and how to get there.

This class was our Christmas present to each other and it was fantastic. Shontal explained and demonstrated each technique clearly, and there were plenty of laughs as we tried them ourselves.
