Such a great class! Was a perfect amount of time to really be able to learn and feel confident in what you know when leaving. The teacher was so lovely and very patient with total beginners. You leave with some wool, a crochet needle, and some other things to get you started at home. I am very happy with this class, Thank you!

Had a fantastic time learning how to crochet, learnt so much from Hyoko, they taught the group how to do basic crochet and how to read it also. Instructions were good and the one on ones were incredibly helpful as we got stuck, confused or when we were doing it right, there was great confirmation.Hyoko spoke very clearly and the demostrations and walk throughs were exactly what I needed so I could crochet at home, we got to keep our pieces, clips, a hook and yarn, now I can actually continue the learning she showed today!I was given a gift card through ClassBento and wanted to learn crochet, the process was super easy and would definitely recommend!

Hyoko is very warm and welcoming. She is concise and very good with her explaining the steps, she took time with each student to ensure that we understood each step before moving to the next. She is very helpful, friendly and encouraged us to pursue what we had learned at home and if we needed ongoing answers she is happy to assist. I loved the whole experience.

As a complete beginner I really enjoyed the class. We learnt some basic stitches and then made a start on a granny square. We were provided with an instruction booklet and given plenty of individual support. We were given the instructions, a crochet hook and some yarn to continue with the granny square at home. I definitely recommend this class if you’re a crochet beginner.

Hyoko is an excellent teacher, she gives each person in the group individual support and you really will learn how to do crochet stitches, follow a pattern and sort it out if you make a mistake. Highly recommend the class.

This was an excellent class. Our teacher was extremely patient and informative, and I went from a complete beginner to being able to read a basic crochet pattern and making a multi-coloured granny square. We were able to take home some yarn, a double-ended crochet hook and some instructions. Thanks for the great instruction, support, snacks and tea!

Our teacher Hyoko taught us three different types of stitch and we started making a granny square. Hyoko gives very clear demonstrations, instructions and also will do it with you to help you catch up if you fall behind the group. Hyoko is patient, polite and keen to help you learn to do it for yourself. Her studio is a small art gallery - truly incredible what she can make. Strongly recommend the class and she is a wonderful host - like a few hours in a wellbeing retreat!

Our teacher, Hyoko was amazing. So friendly and welcoming. She was very generous with each of us in providing one-on-one support when needed. There was no pressure do it quickly, or perfectly, but instead, mastering the technique. I left feeling confident that I could continue my project at home. And Hyoko was great to offer support afterwards with any questions or advice. I would love to attend another one of her classes, once I increase my skills. I went with a friend as a Christmas gift to each other. I highly recommend giving as a gift or going with a friend.

Excellent morning, achieved more than I expected owing to a small class and one on one teaching.Hyoko is very patient, explains clearly and is extremely calm. A great class for beginners - I learned not only how to do each stitch to create my own granny square, but also how to read patterns. That definitely helped with my confidence to practice by myself after the class. The class size is perfectly small which means there is a lot of one-on-one time as well as the opportunity to go at your own pace. It's a cozy space tucked away from the house, with a toilet just up the hallway. There was some nice calming music playing too which really helped on some of those moments when the hook was getting stuck. Overall, a lovely class with a patient and wonderful teacher in a well-thought out space.

We had so much fun in this class! None of us had any experience with crochet before this but Hyoko is such a fantastic teacher, so knowledgeable and patient she made it so easy and we each were able to make a granny square by the end of the day. It is a very good class. I went with my daughter who is interested in crochet but find it difficult to start without someone sitting there to teach/show her how to do it, I think it's a good start.I recommend beginners who is interested in crochet to attend. Hyoko is very nice and with patience.

An amazing teacher! She explained the basic crochet techniques so clearly and made sure to spend individual time with each of us, which really helped our learning.
