What you'll do
Interested in making resin art? Learn all the fundamentals of this super fun medium with Chelsey in Epping and make a beautiful resin artwork that you will be proud to show off in your home!
Resin art is on-trend, and this hands-on class will provide you with everything you need to know about it. During this class, you'll create a 40cm round resin artwork, Chelsey will not only go through how to make your resin artwork but also help you apply resin to any other projects that may interest you outside of her class.
Chelsey loves having one on one time with her students so don't be shy to ask as many questions as you like!
You'll learn all aspects including:
- What is resin and what safety is required when using it.
- What types of resins are suitable for particular projects.
- The application and suitable projects.
- Explore the mixing of different pigments, inks and colours and the different effects you get when mixed with resin.
- How to get lacing (cells) in your resin work.
Your qualified resin artist Chelsey aims to bring all of her student's creative visions to life. You are guaranteed to walk away with something you love.
Please Note
- very flexible with dates and times, if you don’t see the day you want listed. Send me a request and we can lock you in for whatever time you like
- Your resin will need 24 hours to dry so you won't be able to take it home the same day. You're more than welcome to pick it up or you can arrange postage with your teacher for an additional price.

Knowledge required
Join this fun-filled workshop and create your very own resin art masterpieces. This workshop is for all levels and will give you the knowledge of epoxy resin techniques used in application.

Your teacher
Chelsey Teale is an Australian based artist currently living in Sydney, originally born and raised in California. Chelsey has been creating mixed media art in an attempt to capture a sense of flow and movement within her paintings. Her current work would fall under abstract expressionism mixed in with minimalism. Specialising in non-traditional painting methods and straying away from using any strict guidelines on how the paintings should turn out, rather trusting the movement and flow of the medium. Her approach to her art is completely intuitive and comes from within, which makes her pieces feel authentic and original.
