Resin Art Workshop: Cheese Board and Coasters

What you'll do
Be prepared to start a brand new addiction in this introduction to resin pouring for beginners!
In this Sydney workshop, you will learn how to work safely with resin, prepare a workspace, mix correctly, colour with pigments and paint and pour onto decorative pieces. You will be guided on how to create gorgeous patterns using movement and heat.
Choose from a range of complementary colours and pigments and embellish with a range of stunning sparkles and glitters. By the end of the class, you will have a completed cheese board and a set of resin coasters ready to collect the next day (once the resin has cured).
This workshop is perfect if you're searching for creative things to do in Sydney or classy hens party ideas.
Please note:
- This workshop is for ages 16+ and not suitable if you are pregnant.
- Pieces require a minimum of 24 hours to set so will need to be picked up from the venue the following day/week.
- Engadine Venue- works can be picked up from the Tuesday onwards
- Boards are subject to availability and may be different from photos.

My name is Jen and I am passionate about encouraging creativity in students of all ages.
Creative Kids Co was founded 11 years ago as a way to encourage and guide children through their own artistic journeys.
I am also the co-creator of IMOK (Art, T-shirts & Design), established in 2004, which opened up the door to commission and exhibit my own artworks, complete illustrations for a series of books, as well as sell my wares at design markets nationwide. I have also held live art demonstrations and was the featured artist with US Surf/Skate Company Volcom.
My current passion is working with resin and urban illustration and I can’t wait to share this journey with you.

Wanted to say a big thank you. My particular piece didn't turn out how I planned, but in a way that was kind of better than if it all had've worked out. The two teachers/ artists were amazing and supportive and encouraging and made it feel like a masterpiece anyway. They did make the point it was about the process, and I really wanted to agree and say thank you for that. I signed up to do the class a) to try something I've always wanted to do, but also b) get out and try doing things by myself and enjoy the processAnd I really appreciate that they made this such a good experience and enabled me to do exactly that :)

I attended an excellent resin workshop with Jen and team on Sunday 5 December in Rhodes. Jen was engaging, passionate and knowledgeable and conducted excellent demonstrations to ensure we were equipped to prepare our resin pieces.
