What you'll do
If you’re looking for a clay sculpting project that's a little different, look no further! This live Zoom class will give you tips and instructions on how to sculpt a unique totem to tell your story.
Traditionally the totem pole was used to tell the story of an event or symbolise a tribe.
This project can be enjoyed alone, with a group of friends or get your family together and create a family totem. Sculpt your story.
We provide an artist quality airdry clay with acrylic paints and a waterproof sealant.
If you are looking to display your totem outdoors and the sculpture needs to be weather proof, we will need to supply you 'Earthenware clay' that requires kiln firing with specialised ceramic paints. Please send us a message after booking to let us know.
Also please note the kiln firing is at an extra cost. We can help you locate a local firing service.

We did the class as a family activity. My 10 year old and 13 year old each made their own totem and my husband and I made a combined totem.
We all loved the class! The time flew and we were totally inspired.
Sasha our teacher was gorgeous. She demonstrated everything really clearly and just let us do our thing. The materials we were given for the class were excellent.
