Anna Maria ran a a great Zoom class, with simple steps and clear video demonstrations (one camera pointed at her face and the other at her work surface). The kit contained everything needed to make two roses, and was well organised with item labels and instructions.

I had no experience working with wafer paper before, and found it quite fiddly at first, but I started to get the hang of it and was able to produce a decent rose in the end. Anna Maria was very helpful throughout the class, answering questions and providing solutions to fix problems I was having.

We were a bit rushed to fit everything in within the 45 minute class, and I ended up finishing my rose after the Zoom ended. However, this class gave me the knowledge and materials I need to feel confident constructing the kit's second rose in my own time. Furthermore, Anna Maria gave us useful tips on where to source the needed supplies, so I will be able to keep practicing in the future. I really enjoyed this class and would definitely recommend it!

This Sip and Paint was a great way for my party of twelve friends (from across Australia) to virtually get together, and the delivered craft kits meant that those in lock-down could still get the supplies needed. The Zoom audio cut in and out slightly in the beginning of the session, but quickly settled down and was clear for the rest of the class.

Helen did an amazing job of breaking down the painting into simple steps, with clear instructions and video demonstrations to help even my most art-phobic friends follow along. For the more experienced artists, she suggested additional details they might use to personalise their paintings.

The final few steps were a bit rushed, as we were running out of time, so I think this class may benefit from having a longer time slot (this would also allow for a little more sipping, which there was not much time for!) Nevertheless, Helen was a warm and welcoming host and created a great atmosphere. All of my friends greatly enjoyed the event (even the complete non-artists), and I would definitely recommend this class!

Anna Maria covered a lot of beginner piping techniques in the 1 hour class, with clear instructions and multiple camera angles to help us follow what she was doing. As a complete beginner with zero decorating/icing experience, I was easily able to follow the class and ask for advice when I found certain steps difficult. As my first attempt, my cookies definitely aren't perfect, but I learnt a range of valuable techniques which I will now be able to practice.

Anna Maria suggested different ways we could use the techniques in the future to create different designs and effects, and she even stayed around at the end of the class to answer more questions and show us her recommendations for beginner decorating equipment. I would happily take more of her classes and definitely recommend them!
