The Balinese class was conducted by a lovely sunny Sonny who was charismatic and made learning to cook such a pleasurable and enjoyable experience. We got to cook everything from scratch including cutting up a chook which did scare me but our instructor was very supportive and encouraging. I loved how hands on the course was and the lovely commercial kitchen was welcoming and nicely setup for a large group learning experience. We got to cook 2 dishes and all up got to taste many other dishes including gado gado (salad), pork satays, nasi goreng, chicken curry and pisan goreng (fried banana).

The venue is conveniently located with plenty of free parking nearby.

Note: You can bring an alcoholic beverage to enjoy during the cooking and dining experience which I was not aware of.

Wendy was a delightful teacher & made my experience learning the crocheted merino wool cushion so easy. I came away with a gorgeous product I love & am inspired to replicate. Her home was the perfect cosy way to spend an avo learning a new craft & her homemade cake would make Donna Hays proud. I highly recommend Wendy's workshop - you'll not only have a ball but enjoy the best social chats with like minded companions.
