Knowledgeable and creative teacher, helpful and attentive to participants needs and queries. I'm happy with my necklace! Fun morning. Was so proud when I could continue on independently. Beginning and ending off are a skill in themselves.

Thoughtful and attentive teacher who shared skills, knowledge and passion for what she does generously with all of us. Talented, patient and creative. A good range of fabric to choose from, and so glad we could take what we needed to complete our project at home. I've been passionate about Reverse Garbage from the 80s and welcome the opportunity to still visit, drop in for a Saturday snack, browse the Bower and participate in a workshop. I'm thrilled to have mastered the French knot!

Illustrate with Fabric Workshop review by Zaiga Mengelsons - Sydney

$175 is a high price to pay for ONE needle, use of thread, a packet of pins (when I already had my own), a ball of pearl thread to take home, use of plastic templates and a selection of cotton fabric pieces to actually use during the workshop. Lunch and teas provided in the price were on-par to Subway + cookies. Great coffee! Interesting and experienced tutor, attentive to everyone's questions, made great design suggestions, helped EVERY participant, showed interest IN EVERYONE'S efforts and good demonstration of sewing techniques. FABULOUS tutor, Lisa. Amazing examples of seriously brilliant designs and ideas which participants were encouraged to photograph as reference material. A delightful Saturday. I wanted to support individual business operators, that's the only reason I paid the fee for the workshop. There's no way I would have otherwise.
