Arno is an amazing teacher. He showed the class many techniques in how to make delicious hot chocolate, proper caramel and gorgeous chocolate bars. All of this in a lovely kitchen with Joey on hand to help and taking great photos for me. Some wonderful tastings of different qualities of chocolate as well. A great day. Thank you Anos and Joey.

Our teacher was very knowledgeable about the process of rum and explained the information clearly. Making our own spiced rum was fun and the cheese and charcuterie plate was delicious. So many more workshops to do at Brix Rum.

What a wonderful afternoon. Elena shared the complexities of soapmaking in a straight forward and easy to understand context. She is so knowledgeable. I now feel confident to make my own soap. Great class. Elena gave us lots of inside information and special tips. Additionally, we left with two lots of gorgeous soap.

It was lovely to meet Kathryn and learn the art of making a pure natural lipstick. I loved the final colour. Kathryn was very welcoming, gave me delicious japenese tea and informed me on the various fruits and organic substances that complement her receipe. A lovely morning.

Spent a lovely afternoon with Narda learning the intricacies of embroidery. She embodies creativity. Everything clearly explained with additional notes and information to purchase supplies and books. Narda provided a lovely starter kit which has certainly motivated me to continue the minute I get home.

Today I had the privilege of learning from Kintsugi Master Jun Morooka San. He teaches this age old tradition, very calmly, in a soothing space. Jun San is especially patient, helpful and attentive to all details. The steps are set out very clearly resulting in a beautiful piece of work to take home.
