Carlie is a lovely teacher and once again I have 2 funky artworks! The online class went smoothly and I'd recommend it :) I got the kit and the class combo and it is perfect

The venue moved to a restaurant nearby because of bad weather and the space was perfect. It was a good session and they helped everyone to create something fun! 3rd PaintBar class I've been to and each one is great.

I booked for 5 of us (1 sadly couldn't make it) and we had such fun! The teacher (Carlie) is lovely and exceptionally talented - very easy to follow her instructions and then do our own thing making our own artworks! We got to practise the techniques before getting started on the the actual artworks which was a great idea for newbies to watercolour - I didn't realise the paint is so vivid because previously 'watercolour' paintings I'd seen were always, well, watery and quite muted. The new venue (BAA, in Jindalee) is nice because they can have the class outside or inside, and it is handy to the highway and has parking. The cost of the class is reasonable and worthwhile!

I enjoyed this class very much because it wasn't strictly instructed like others where you're told exactly which line to paint where - it allowed us to make the artwork our own. The teacher was great and helped my friend fix a mistake which turned her painting around from potential disaster! I have learned a new technique which I'm keen to use to create a new artwork at home!
