On the search for unique things to do in Sydney? Get creative at this jewellery making course and learn how to design and make your very own stack-on rings!
Over two sessions, you'll learn basic silversmithing techniques including saw piercing, annealing and soldering; and make several personalised 925 sterling silver rings (three to five rings) with your own two hands.
For each of your rings, you have the freedom to choose different shapes, textures or patterns to create your unique stack of silver rings.
What we'll cover:
- Roller printing
- Texturing metal
- Stamping
- Saw piercing
- Filing
- Soldering
- Wire twisting
- Bending/Forming
- Polishing
- Ring-sizing
- And more!
Finish off the rings produced by using finishing techniques such as high polish or a patina (blackening with liver of sulphur) which allows for a more high-quality piece. All of our silver jewellery courses are limited to 10 places which will enable the tutor to give each student plenty of one-to-one guidance and instruction.
By the end of this course, you will go home with a great foundation in jewellery making skills along with your beautiful stack-on rings.
