Need calming and mindful Brisbane activities to break up your week? Join us for our midweek silversmithing class in West End and try out one of our options!

These workshops are designed to work with individual participants to develop a plan on what they would like to make and over a period of a one-off workshop to weekly workshops over a certain amount of weeks.

We will provide everything needed to make a piece of jewellery or art to take home when the project is finished. You can decide between a pair of earrings, a pendant, a keychain or an art piece.

Class options (select upon checkout):

  • One hour - the perfect amount of time to make a keychain
  • Two-hour workshop - the perfect amount of time to make a pendant
  • Three-hour workshop - the perfect amount of time to make a pair of earrings

We will show you the basics of silversmithing, which includes designing, shaping, filing and assembling a unique piece for you to take home. We will work with you individually to develop a plan for your provider if needed.

As you develop your skills, we can devise a new project for you to complete.

Please note: A chain for the pendant is not included if you choose to make this project.

Workshop numbers are kept small to ensure one on one assistance and to maintain the relaxed vibe, the intention of a mindful workshop. This workshop is charged at an hourly rate, where you can choose your own start and finish time within the time of the workshop on that day.

Please note: when booking, please keep in mind the time frame to make a basic piece of jewellery and book hours accordingly. For example, if you would like to make a pair of earrings, this will take approximately three hours, but you can only come one hour per week. Then you will need to book for three weeks. You can either take your project home with you and bring it back the next week, OR we can store it for you.

Flexible with start times within the three-hour session. Please inform us of your expected arrival time when booking.

There will be a short tea break with tea and biscuits provided, between 11.30 am to 11.45 am or 2.45 pm to 3 pm at each session.

If you require any additional information please don't hesitate to contact us.
