- Enjoy the online class. You'll receive a link to a Zoom meeting. On the day of the class, use that link to join the class. What you'll do
Calling all beginners or shy singers! This live streaming singing lesson is all about finding out all the awesome things your voice can do.
In this live online class, your experienced teacher Elizabeth Savina will guide you through a range of handy exercises to start you on your singing journey.
The class will cover:
- Discovering your preferences (e.g. do you prefer head voice/chest voice?)
- Using cues from everyday talking to expand your singing voice
- Ways to strengthen your singing voice
- Dealing with difficult parts of the singing voice
- Basic anatomy and physiology of singing
- The state of research into the health benefits of singing
- Vocal first-aid
Along with the two-and-a-half-hour-class, you will receive a 30-page e-booklet summarising the workshop and a set of your singing straws (which will be conveniently delivered to your home), which are the perfect tool to help build a healthier, stronger, and more balanced voice.

No background knowledge or singing experience required.

Suitable for

Your teacher
Elizabeth Savina is a Choir Leader and Certified Practising Speech Pathologist. She consulted on the 2016 Sing to Beat Parkinson’s project run by the Queensland Conservatorium of Music and ran the choir, the Red Hot Chilli Parkies (they chose the name!)
Elizabeth runs Thrive Voice Therapy and sings and plays guitar/mandolin with Shantyman and Friends.
Elizabeth has facilitated many successful beginner's singing workshops and received invitations to present these at festivals. She is passionate about people regaining their birthright of singing.
