In this workshop, you will learn how to make your own 100 per cent natural soap and shampoo bars using the hot process method. This workshop is perfect for beginners. You will learn how to prepare, make and pour your soap and shampoo bars and how to do so safely.
We'll begin with a thorough explanation of the equipment and materials required and how to do so affordably and sustainably. We will then move on to a detailed demonstration of how to mix and prepare your soap base and you will have time to experiment. There will be a few bases available and a selection of essential oils, colours, exfoliants and other additives to add to your soap. We will also make a batch of shampoo bars that will be shared among participants.
All materials and tools are supplied on the day. You will go home with your very own custom made soaps and a few bars of shampoo each, plus instructions for how to continue at home.
We will use caustic soda to make the lye required to make soap. You will be shown how to use this safely.
No creative experience necessary!
This workshop is great for individuals and couples as well as for a hens party, baby shower, birthday, special occasion, team building activity, corporate event, bucks party or Christmas party.

Started with a warm welcome into the spacious and well laid out studio. The process was well explained including a thorough explanation of the equipment. there were lots of different options to choose from to add to your soap. A friendly atmosphere and we left with an abundance of soap. Loved it

Nicollett was great, she answered all my questions, was very helpful & patient. The money I paid was worth spending on the workshop. The only thing I would suggest is maybe a little kitlike - indicator paper, thermometer, little wooden spoon along with the information that she gives you.

We had 5 students in our class. The space was intimate and great.
There were so many types of oils, herbs, clays and colours to make different kind of our own soap.

The class was interesting. I had no experience, the teacher makes it easy for me to understand every details and she was patiently answering to all our questions.
