1.5 hours Class size 10 to 100     label $132

Get the bride-to-be's favourite people together for a fun and engaging 90 minute soy candle making workshop! We're passionate about creating a unique experience for your group.

Maybe not everyone who is coming to your hens party knows each other but candle making can be a wonderful ice breaker activity.

The bride needs to relax, be spoilt and to relieve those pre-wedding nerves. The future mother-in-law might be there and maybe there's a mix of generations attending. The prospect of an awkward X- rated show may not be the go. Perhaps the bride-to-be is not the stumbling drunkenly at the strippers type anyway. She's a creative woman and might enjoy some candle making.

So, allow us to help you send off your friend feeling invincible with her tribe of women by her side!

This class will cover:

  • The benefits of soy wax over other waxes
  • Wick types and how to correctly wick container candles
  • How fragrance loads work, and how to scent your candle
  • Safety tips, step-by-step instructions and a demonstration
  • The science behind the art, equipment and materials required
  • How to measure correctly and how to conduct burn tests
  • Time for Q and A

You have the creative freedom to choose your candle glass colour, dye and fragrance oils from our phthalate free fragrance library of Watermelon, Vanilla bean, Salted caramel, Rose, Pina colada, Persian lime and lemongrass, Coconut lime, Blueberry cheesecake and 1 million.

At the end of the class, you can take home beautiful candles and remember the unforgettable fun you had each time you light them.

Perfect for classy hens party activities, celebrate the bride-to-be with a wonderful candle making workshop and create new memories with each other!

About your instructor

In 2009, I taught myself to make soy candles at home, and later also became a soap maker. Soon after, I established a successful bath, body and home fragrance brand from my small kitchen, and my creations were featured regularly in national magazines and newspapers. My products were stocked Australia-wide, sold in boutiques and chain stores around Australia, and I exported to Hong Kong and the U.S.A. After taking a break to have my kids, I returned to pass this knowledge on to others through workshops and supplies.
