Really fun, relaxing and engaging afternoon. Teacher was excellent, walking us through the process and assisting if we needed help. Loved smelling the different scents and working out which ones to blend to make the smell I was trying to create. Would thoroughly recommend as a great way to spend an afternoon.

My son bought this as a birthday present for us to do together. It was such a wonderful experience. Our tutor was lovely and helped make the whole experience fun and enjoyable. We learnt a lot about different smells and how different notes can change dramatically when paired with something else. It was a small group which was lovely. We came home with 2 very different perfumes and lots of memories. Highly recommend this mixology class.

My partner and I have attended the perfume workshop four times over the last few years, and it's special and exciting every time!The workshop is a perfect combination of educational, fun, and creative. You're guided through the process while always feeling like you're in the driver's seat - you can bring your vision to life with assistance from Elke who has such a wealth of knowledge, and is so warm and approachable.The environment is so inviting and you're spoiled with beverages and snacks. A genuinely unique and wonderful experience from start to finish.I can't wait to visit Red Rosie again!

Loved the perfume making workshop! Started with learning the basics of perfume making, crafted a plan, experimented with a huge range of scents, and fine tuned my own formulation. An excellent, mindfulness activity for a rainy morning (and appreciated the brownie treats). I now have a beautiful bottle of perfume to enjoy.

Wonderful and unique fun! The space itself is beautiful and really allows the creativity to flow. The staff take so much time to support you and help you in creating your perfect sent. Especially the owner who is so knowledgeable. I took my mum for Mother’s Day and I think the support and generosity of time from the staff really amplified the experience for her.

We had a very enjoyable time at the candle making. A group of nine ladies attended, it was a fun thing to do with friends on a Friday night. The bubbles and delicious brownies were a hit, and the candles smelt amazing!Elke was very helpful

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I went with my 2 daughters as a mothers day gift. The people who ran the event were very friendly. I would do it again and tell people about it. My teacher was fantastic, engaging, she made us all feel quite relaxed and ready to enjoy the process.During my class the only thing that I found overwhelming was trying to find out what lazy Susan was carrying top notes, heart notes or base notes. I did notice a sticker in the middle of the board but possibly a stick with the sign on the top may have helped better. Also, I’m not too sure if we were told but I could’ve remembered to write down on my paper what colour that bottle was. When I need to go back and find it I know what colour I’m looking for. This day was so much fun, I am very happy that I booked in with my family for my 60th birthday. Thank you all for your wonderful experience.

This is my second time at the Red Rosie Perfume Mixology Workshop, and this time I treated my friend for her birthday. Elke and her team create such a wonderful atmosphere and we had a ball. The fact that we both have mementos of our afternoon is a bonus. Elke makes sure you walk away with a signature scent you love. I definitely recommend this class

I attended the perfume mixology workshop as a fun and creative activity, and it turned out to be a really memorable experience.During the session, I learned the basics of fragrance composition, including how to balance top, middle, and base notes. We were guided through smelling different essential oils and accords, then encouraged to experiment and create our own custom scent. It was fascinating to see how small adjustments could completely change the character of a perfume.Rosie was knowledgeable, patient, and very encouraging. She explained concepts clearly without making it feel overwhelming, and they gave helpful suggestions while still allowing us the freedom to be creative.The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with a nice mix of focus and fun. Everyone was engaged, and there was a sense of shared curiosity as we compared our blends and discussed our choices.What I liked most was the hands-on aspect—being able to design a fragrance that felt personal and unique. It was both educational and enjoyable, and I left with a deeper appreciation for the art of perfumery (and my own signature scent!).

This workshop is fantastic, would definitely recommend. Red Rosie have an unbeliveable amount of stock and knowledge, and Elkie guides guests through all of the informaiton and resources. Elkie perfectly managed the class so each guest felt comfortable to experiment and learn, and feel supported throughout. Each step of the class felt incredibily well and carefully thought out for the customers. The perfume you make and get to keep is extremely luxe, and they even keep your crafted scent on file to order again and again!
